DAVID BLACKWOOD Bragg's Island Revisited (2002)

For over four decades, Bragg's Island, the home of his maternal grandparents, has been a familiar touchstone in the prints of David Blackwood. This tiny outcrop of rock has been the source for an extended series of images produced by the artist over the last decade. The prints in this exhibition highlight the importance of Bragg's Island as a backdrop for the central themes of David Blackwood's work.
